Tangerine Diesel is one of my all time favorite crosses. I haven’t been able to find much information on this strain, seems to be a rare one. I had this one for awhile, I distinctly remember the danky stank, it was sooo great. I’m always on the lookout…anyone else had the joy of of this strain coarsing through their veins? Genetics: (Purple Erkel X (Trainwreck X Hashplant)
Seems to be a rare strain to find locally, I picked a few grams of this up at the end of last year because I’ve never heard of it. It was crossed with seemingly good genetics so I gave it spin.
The purple overtones are definitely present in the smell and flavor, the classic lavender, sweet flavor stands out. Break a good sample of this down and your neighbor will smell it, funky! Deep purple undertones and mostly dark green with burnt orange hairs wiggling out from the nugs.
I’ve read that this could originate from Mendocino, not sure though.
